J. D. Laurel left high school at the age of 17 and joined the U. S. Marines. After surviving Vietnam he completed his General Equivalency Diploma and two years of junior college before entering a successful 30 year career in state service. He has completed several courses from the Writer’s Digest School and most recently The Arrowgrove School of Erotic Writing. His favorite genre is mainstream erotic fiction. Some of his short stories have been published in Penthouse Variations Magazine. He has also been published in Ruthie’s Club, Pink Flamingo, Justus Roux’s, two newspaper articles published in the Cambrian newspaper, and a non-fiction story published in Leatherneck Magazine. His Novella, “The Couple Next Door,” has been published by Solstice Publishing, along with two other books, “In The Company of Familiar Strangers,” and “Neighborhood Affairs.” Three collections of his short stories have been published by Erotic Books for Pleasure publishing, and another one of his books has been published by Summerhouse Publishing.
